Die Serie heißt Abstract Punkt. Der Punkt ist kein Designelement, das dem Ganzen etwas Besonderes hinzufügen soll. Der Punkt ist essentiell. Um diesen Punkt geht es eigentlich. Dieser Punkt zeigt, dass nichts mehr zu diesen Werken gesagt werden muss respektive soll. Die Malereien sprechen schon genug zu einem oder sie tun es nicht. Jedoch kann jedes erklärende Wort der Künstlerin nur wegnehmen, kann nur verringern, das Potential und den Wortschatz verkleinern und dem Werk somit seine Möglichkeiten und seine Kraft nehmen.

Bei der OnVelvet Serie wird ausschließlich Samt als Untergrund verwendet.

Darauf breitet sich ein ganzes Spektrum an unterschiedlichen Materialen und dicken Farben aus. Islandmoos, Pflanzen, Erde, gestickte Linien aus Garn und ein wie üblich dicker opulenter Farbauftrag ziehen sich durch die Themen der Bilder. Inspiriert von der Natur entstehen beim Versuch sich dem absoluten Sein zu nähern unter anderem Bergansichten mit großer visueller Tiefe, die weit in dem Raum zu reichen scheinen sowie prachtvolle Blumengebilde bis hin zu ganzen Galaxien.
Wie immer ist auch diesmal der Malerin ein direktes Erleben des Betrachters von grundlegender Bedeutung. So darf das Werk auch berührt werden um die unterschiedliche Haptik und somit die Gesamtheit des Bildes zu begreifen.

BLU

Eine strikte blaue Malperiode. Ruhe, Tiefe, Weite, Blau. In verschiedenen Formaten und Untergründen entsteht eine Welt in Lapislazuli. In 11 Werken, die über mehrere Monate entstanden sind, zeichnet sich eine verspielte Detailwelt mit einem impulsiven Pinselstrich und Farbfluss. Die fließende Farbe gibt immer den nächsten Schritt vor. Manche Werke entstehen ohne starkes Zutun, während andere eine intensive und langandauernde Auseinandersetzung fordern.
